Cornerite™ is commonly used where walls meet walls or ceilings, over inner angles of masonry construction and when using the floating-angle-method of applying gypsum lath to wood framing in order to reduce plaster cracking. Cornerite reinforcing angle should be tied to the base lath using 18-gauge tie wire. It should not be attached directly to the support framing but allowed to float in the corner.
